LDP COMMEMORATES WORLD HEALTH DAY 2022.

The Liberal Democratic Party wishes all Ghanaians a happy World Health Day. The theme for this year's World Health Day celebration is; "Our planet, Our health" and as a party with the people and the planet at heart, we deem this theme timely for the current state of the globe and Ghanaians, climate and health-wise.

We thereby entreat and remind every Ghanaian that, it is all hands on deck to curb climate change and improve the better health of every individual in the country. Let's endeavor to reduce plastic use, use recycled materials, cut down what we throw away, shop wisely, participate in community clean up exercises, conserve water and educate each other on need and preventive measures to fight climate change.

The World Health Organization estimates that there are more than 13 million deaths recorded around the world each year due to avoidable environmental causes. This includes the climate crisis which is the single biggest health threat facing humanity. With this statistical revelation, we urge all to help in our quest to protect the globe and improve health for all Ghanaians.

We as a party, assure the good people of Ghana to do our best to provide affordable and accessible healthcare to every Ghanaian through the implementation of health activities and general policies that will help in our fight against climate change.

“You are important, and you are needed for the development of the Nation. Let’s come together to help one another and the planet”.
