The Osu Salem Basic School received packs of sanitary pads to be given to the female students of the school in reference to the girl-child initiative. The Dzorwulu special school is a school for the intellectually disabled and the Osu Salem Basic School is a government school for pupils in the Primary sections and as part of the Party’s itinerary as a simulated political party, we whole heartedly showed love to the people of the country regardless their affiliations.

The Headmaster, Student representative and few teachers were present to receive the donations on behalf of the student body of The Dzorwulu Special School.

"It is unfortunate today happens to be the reopening day of the school for students to report in, because at the moment, we only have one student present. But we really do appreciate the the Liberal Democratic party for this gesture and in honor of the kids, we say ‘thank you’ and that we are so grateful".

The Headmaster of the school expressed.

The Osu Salem Basic School on the other hand, also welcomed the Women's Organiser and her entourage on their day of reopening for the donation. The female students of the Osu Salem Basic School were educated by some female leaders of the LDP about menstruation, personal hygiene during their menstrual cycles, how to deal with menstrual cramps and the necessary hygienic items females can use to avoid staining their clothes during that time of the month.

There was an interactive quiz session for the students of the Osu Salem Basic School after some Executives of the political party took them through the menstrual education. Gifts like pens, pencils, handkerchiefs and biscuits were given to students who volunteered to answer questions. This act, had many students join in the interactions full of excitement and willingness to learn. It was quite an interesting session as most students shared personal opinions and views on the subject matter as well as helped the Party officials, gain acquaintances.
